Lynn Gillespie, who was raised in an organic garden, had an easy transition from school to a career in gardening. Lynn and her husband Tom built their greenhouse complex 21 years ago. The organic gardens at The Living Farm now cover almost two acres.

Lynn has authored 2 gardening books "Cinder Block Gardens" and "How To Grow All The Vegetables Your Family Can Eat Right In Your Own Back Yard". She writes for various print and online magazines.

Lynn preserves the family's food for the winter by canning, dehydrating, freezing and root cellaring. She also makes cheese, butter and ice cream from the milk that she gets from her herd of dairy sheep. Weaving and spinning the wool is one of Lynn's favorite winter activities when she is not in the greenhouses.

Director

Jay Canode is a 18 year veteran of network videojournalism and television production, "Having worked for clients such as CNN, NBC, CBS, MTV… etc. I have witnessed the adverse affects of media consolidation in the mass media of this country. Important universal information for the good of all people is at the bottom of the list when it comes to the reporting of 'news' in America."

Jay currently is a freelance videographer, choosing wisely the subject matter he trains the lens of his camera on. "I believe the future of meaningful, and important electronic journalism lies in the hands of independent unaffiliated journalists and producers. As we move forward in this electronic era, the internet as an international venue for all voices will trump the corporate megaphones of yesterday."
